One of Chicago's most anticipated annual events is returning to McCormick Place April 8-10, 2016.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One of Chicago's most anticipated annual events is returning to McCormick Place April 8-10, 2016. The Black Women's Expo is now celebrating its 22nd year. Under the theme "She Matters," the Black Women's Expo offers African American women opportunities to be informed, empowered and enlightened, while discovering the latest trends and new products and services specifically created for them.

The Black Women's Expo is the longest running exposition of its kind, and it's continuing to grow each year. In 2016, the experience is extending to the Washington Convention Center in Washington, D.C. September 16 - 18 and Atlanta's Georgia World Congress Center October 7 - 9th. The Black Women's Expo offers seminars and panel discussions presented by notable local and national speakers and lecturers, educational exhibits and corporate displays, and entertainment featuring R&B artists Guordan Banks, Tony Terry, Kelly Price and more.

Founder of the Black Women's Expo, Merry Green, and President of Luster Products, Jory Luster, joined ABC 7 live from the showroom floor ahead of the big weekend in Chicago.
