Designers work to make tech-friendly skinny jeans

SAN FRANCISCO -- Pants pockets may soon be bigger as jean manufacturers try to accommodate the new iPhone 6 models.

Some people who bought the larger phones have reported they can actually end up bending when jammed into the small pockets of skinny jeans.

Brands like San Francisco-based Levi's, J-Crew, Lee and American Eagle say they are working with design teams to make their jeans more tech-friendly.

Fashion retailer Uniqlo says it is also looking at ways to make its clothes compatible with the larger phones.
