Taco Bell opens new upscale chain in California

HUNTINGTON BEACH, Calif. (WLS) -- It still won't be fine dining, but Taco Bell is ready to roll out a more sophisticated menu.

The first U.S. Taco Co. restaurant is set to open Monday in Huntington Beach, Calif.

The menu for Taco Bell's new upscale chain includes smoked brisket tacos and a crispy chicken and gravy taco. Also on the menu -- a vanilla shake featuring Guinness, tequila caramel sauce, and chocolate flakes.

If the new concept is a hit, a U.S. Taco Co. restaurant could expand to other markets.
