If you travel to foreign destinations, or to places like Alaska and Hawaii, you may be overcharged on new TSA security fees.

Long layovers are causing certain legs of passengers' trips to be viewed as separate flights and not part of one long trip. It's a computer problem that the travel industry warned would lead to overcharging.

The TSA rejected a plea from the travel industry to delay implementing the new fees.
