Verizon looks to fill 165 jobs, to host Rolling Meadows hiring event

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (WLS) -- Looking for a job? Verizon is hiring in northwest suburban Rolling Meadows.

The company is looking to fill 165 customer service positions and several retail positions at its 30,000 sq.-ft. facility.

Job hopefuls should apply online to receive an invitation to a hiring event the company plans to host on Wednesday, Nov. 30, at the Verizon Rolling Meadows Solutions Center located at 2401701 Gold Rd, Tower 2, Ste 100.

There will be two open-house sessions: one from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. and another from 5:30-7 p.m. Qualified applicants will be invited to sign up for one of the two sessions.

They will meet with recruiters to learn about the jobs and tour the facility, which includes a wellness center with personal trainers, a cafeteria with in-house chefs, a lactation room for new mothers and a dedicated Strayer University center.

Applicants should enjoy working with others, multi-task well and have solid technical skills. The jobs Verizon is looking to fill offer a competitive salary and benefits, including a 401(k) with company-matching contributions, medical, vision and dental insurance and up to $8,000 in annual tuition assistance.
