Irish Days has new set of "best legs in a kilt"

LONG GROVE, Ill. (WLS) -- Chicagoland has a new "Best Legs in a Kilt" champion after a Labor Day showdown!

Grant Trunnell of Arlington Heights stood victorious in the annual pageant at northwest suburban Long Grove's Irish Days festival.

Six contestants strutted along the stage as the crowd cheered on their favorites from lawn chairs.

After brief deliberation, the judges declared Trunnell the victor; he received a trophy.

The three-day Irish Days celebration features music all weekend along with traditional Irish fare to enjoy.
