Chicago boosts city learning programs with new website

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The city of Chicago is bringing learning programs and activities for youth and adults to help them with school and careers.

More than 100 institutions, including parks and museums, are working with the Chicago City of Learning website to offer programs from sports to fashion design to online coding.

With every program completed, participants earn online badges showing their newly-acquired skills and knowledge.

Online programs are available 24 hours a day while in-person programs are held at different sites across the city.
