Parents protest turnaround plan at Gresham School

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Parents protested plans to turnaround a South Side school on Friday evening.

Parents at Gresham School on South Green say they haven't been given the resources they need to succeed. They've held protests and sit-ins trying to stop the changes.

The Chicago Board of Education president said in a statement that a turnaround is the best path forward for Gresham.
