Westmont teen wins International Geography Bee in Germany
A west suburban high school student is winning international awards for his brain power.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A west suburban high school student is winning international awards for his brain power.

Seth Buikema recently won the varsity division of the International Geography Bee that was held in Germany.

Buikema is going to be a senior at Timothy Christian High School in Elmhurst.

The teenager from Westmont sat down with ABC7's Tracy Butler to talk about the geography competition and how he prepared for it.
