Adele Chicago shows already sold out; tickets selling for hundreds

CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's been a ticket frenzy for Adele fans in the Chicago area; her three shows in July are already sold out, and those tickets are being resold for thousands of dollars online.

Many diehard fans were on Ticketmaster at 10 a.m. waiting to snag tickets, but some found the process very frustrating. The tickets, originally priced from $40-$150, sold out within minutes.

As of Thursday afternoon, the cheapest tickets on StubHub are going for around $300.

Some floor seats at the United Center are being resold for more than $4,400.
