Cindy Crawford credits Chicago, in part, for success

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A DeKalb native and Northwestern University alum, supermodel Cindy Crawford started her legendary career in Chicago.

"I feel like so much of my success as a model is because of my Midwestern work ethic," she said Wednesday at the Union League Club. ABC7's Chery Burton led the discussion.

Crawford recently published a coffee table book, "Becoming by Cindy Crawford," which includes 150 photographs and anecdotes from her career. Crawford turns 50 next year.
