Explore cultures at the Destination Asia Festival
The Morton Arboretum hosts their Destination Asia Festival on August 5-6, 2017.

LISLE, Ill. (WLS) -- The Morton Arboretum hosts their Destination Asia Festival (http://www.mortonarb.org/events/destination-asia-festival) on August 5-6, 2017. The two-day event has something for everyone to enjoy, including sumo wrestling demonstrations, music and dancing from countries across Asia, and live storytelling. Visitors can play games and enjoy activities common in Asian countries, including cricket, badminton, and origami. An instructor will lead a demonstration of aerial yoga in a hammock secured from a tree branch and a selection of food trucks will offer Asian menu options to festival-goers throughout the weekend. Visitors will also have the opportunity to learn about the Morton Arboretum's diverse collection of trees from China, Japan, and Korea.

The Destination Asia Festival is free to attend with arboretum admission. Gina Steele from The Morton Arboretum joined ABC 7 live from Lisle to preview some of the fun.
