FranklyHANK: Chance The Rapper, Lionel Richie & Mariah

CHICAGO -- Chicago's own Chance The Rapper is back on "Saturday Night LIVE" this Saturday, December 17. He performs songs chosen by his fans from his "Coloring Book" album. This will be Chance's third appearance on SNL. Check out the funny trailer with this week's host, Casey Affleck.

LIONEL RICHIE & MARIAH CAREY

Lionel Richie is going on tour with Mariah Carey. She is his special guest. Make no mistake this is Lionel's tour, but together they are calling it "All The Hits." Chicago's United Center is the sixth stop on the tour, March 25, 2017. Tickets go on sale Saturday, December 17th at LiveNation.com.

"LUZIA" BY CIRQUE DU SOLEIL

Cirque's latest show is headed to Chicago, "LUZIA," opens July 21, 2017, under the Big Top on the United Center grounds. "THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA"

One of my absolute favorite Broadway shows returns to Chicago, "The Phantom of the Opera." It plays through Sunday, Jan. 8 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, 151 W. Randolph. This is the same production that came through Chicago last year with re-imagined costumes and sets. It's a stunningly beautiful production and is a Broadway show that should not be missed.
