HARRY POTTER

Harry is back and the eight Harry Potter story picks up exactly where "The Deathly Hallows" ended. Nineteen years after the Battle of Hogwarts when Harry's son, Albus, is departing for the wizarding school.

The story then advances to Albus being a teen and Harry's past coming back. But, "Harry Potter and the Cursed Child" is not a novel, it's a script for the play happening on London's West End right now. The play is sold out through May 2017 and audiences are raving over it. While there are rumors the show will head to Broadway, producers say they are just rumors for now. Discussions begin this week with meetings set to take place in the fall in NYC. Expect to wait a year and half to two-years for the show to come to the US. Mounting a production this big takes time. But I think it will be well worth the wait.

SPLASH RETURNS

Do you remember the 1984 film "Splash," which featured Darryl Hannah and Tom Hanks. She's a mermaid. He falls in love. It was a sleeper hit and now Disney is remaking it with Channing Tatum and Jillian Bell. However, the roles are being reversed! Tatum will play the mermaid! YES! I'll go for a dip in those waters! That should be exciting. Until then relive your "Splash" memories below.
