George Wendt in 'Funnyman' at Northlight Theatre

SKOKIE, Ill. (WLS) -- George Wendt stars in "Funnyman," a play about the life of a fading vaudeville comic and his long-suffering agent, at the Northlight Theatre in Skokie, Ill.

Wendt portrays comic Chick Sherman, who is trying to revive his career in an off-Broadway play. Tim Kazurinsky plays his agent.

Written by Bruce Graham, "Funnyman" made its world premiere at Northlight Theatre, 9501 Skokie Blvd in Skokie, and just extended the show through October 25, 2015.
