Ice skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park open

CHICAGO -- The Chicago Park District ice skating ribbon at Maggie Daley Park opened for the season on Friday.

The ice ribbon opened at 10 a.m. and admission is free, but skate rental is $12 during the week and $14 on the weekend. The ice ribbon will stay open through the first week of March.

The Chicago Blackhawks ice rinks in parks across the city also opened on Friday.
