CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art has announced the lead architects and design team for the new museum on Chicago's lakefront.

Beijing-based MAD Architects will be the principal designer for the site and Chicago's Studio Gang will design the landscape and a bridge to the Northerly Island nature area. Chicago-based VOA Associates will be executive architects and lead implementation of MAD's design.

The Lucas Museum's planned location is between Soldier File and McCormick Place. Conceptual designs are expected to be released later in 2014.
