Lyric Opera costumes for sale- one day only

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Lyric Opera of Chicago will hold a one-day costume sale on Saturday, September 6 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Admission is free, but there is a $5 suggested donation.

More than 3,000 costume pieces, including hats, will be for sale at the Civic Opera House, 20 N. Wacker Drive. They'll range in price from $1 to $200.

Items are sold as is, and prices are final, Lyric representatives said. And there's no fitting room, so come prepared to try on over other clothing.

No children's costumes are for sale.
