Millennium Park hosts diverse dance festival

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Hundreds of people gather in Millennium Park for a very diverse dance festival.

The Chicago Dance Festival took place Saturday night at the Jay Pritzker Pavilion.

It is the largest free dance festival in the country featuring a mix of ballet, hip-hop, and modern dance.

Some of the dancers who performed Saturday night are students from local dance programs, while others are members of the Joffrey Ballet.
