CHICAGO (WLS) -- The third season of ABC's ''Once Upon a Time'' has ended, with season 4 on the way.

On the finale, Mary Margaret "Snow" and David "Charming" celebrate the naming of their son at a coronation in Granny's Diner, while Emma Swan and Hook were pulled into Zelena's time portal and find themselves in the Enchanted Forest of the past. But in their quest to discover a way back, they have to be careful not to change anything or risk altering the lives of their friends and family as well as their very own existence.

No debut date has been set for Once Upon a Time season 4. The series takes place in Maine, with the main characters being fairytale staples who've mostly lost their memories and powers.

"Once Upon a Time" debuted in fall of 2011 and stars Jennifer Morrison, Robert Carlyle and Ginnifer Goodwin.

SPOILER ALERT

The conclusion of Season 3 saw the appearance of what is believed to be Elsa from Disney's hit movie "Frozen," which would make for an additional fairytale character out of Disney's most recent repertoire.
