Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice director Zack Snyder posted the first official image of the Batmobile on Twitter right after alleged photos of the Batman's car were leaked online. In a second tweet, Snyder credited the image to photographer Clay Enos.

Just one day prior to Synder's release, an anonymous photographer had posted several images of a parked car in Detroit that is thought to be a framework of an early rendition, or incomplete, Batmobile.

The photographer told Mlive that he worked near the Metro Detroit suburb of River Rouge, where filming of the superhero movie is said to be taking place.

Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice (2016) stars Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne, Henry Cavill as Superman/Clark Kent and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
