Rockin' for the Troops at Cantigny Park
Mike Elliot of the All Veteran Parachute Team will jump to support our military at Rockin' for the Troops.

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Wheaton's annual Rockin' for the Troops event at Cantigny Park is the place to be this weekend to support our service members and veterans.

Mike Elliott, retired Army Golden Knight and founder of the All Veteran Parachute Team, is the veteran who tandem jumped with former U.S. President George H.W. Bush on his 85th and 90th birthdays.

Elliot and his team are scheduled to perform at Rockin' for the Troops at 5 p.m. Saturday. Gates open at noon.

For the past eight years, the event has welcomed a sellout crowd of 12,000 people, representing one of the largest military support events in the country.

The All Veteran Parachute Team helps Gold Star Families, wounded veterans and partners with Operation Support Our Troops-America to help Families of the Fallen move forward after losing loved ones.

Operation Support Our Troops-America has received the highly coveted four-star rating from Great Non-Profits.
