Rolling Meadows church creates blizzard for 'Frozen' movie night

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (WLS) -- Snow in the summer? When it comes to winter, some residents in the northwestern suburbs just can't seem to "let it go."

Eight tons of ice were turned into a blizzard Friday night at Meadows Christian Fellowship in Rolling Meadows.

The August snow storm a prelude to the group's annual movie night, which this year is, you guessed it, "Frozen."

Moviegoers were told to wear shorts, sandals...and gloves.
