Prince William, Kate Middleton to celebrate Prince George's first birthday

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Prince William, Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal family are preparing for a royal birthday. Britain's Prince George turns one year old on Tuesday.

The palace released a picture of George walking with his arms outstretched over the weekend. The picture was taken earlier this month at London's Natural History Museum.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are expected to hold a birthday party for the little prince at their apartment in London's Kensington Palace with close family and friends to celebrate.
