Six Flags Great America opens for 2016 season

GURNEE, Ill. (WLS) -- Thrill-seekers rejoice! Six Flags Great America opens for its 2016 season Saturday, April 23.

There are a few new additions to the theme park in Gurnee, including a new 4-D ride called Justice League: Battle for Metropolis.

Tickets for opening weekend are $25.
