CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Shedd Aquarium wants everyone to enjoy their performances, including those with disabilities.

On Saturday, the Chicago Community Trust's People with Disabilities Fund is supporting Shedd Aquarium's efforts to help people with vision and hearing needs.

This grant will allow Shedd to share the message in the "Holiday One World" performance -- of animal care and conservation -- this season to a wider audience.

An American Sign Language interpreter will be on hand for both the 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. performances. In addition, audio headsets will be available for those who have difficulty hearing.

Those who wish to access this interpretation should contact Shedd in advance of their "Holiday One World" experience by calling 312-939-2438 or 1-800-526-0857 for relay service.

Shedd's director of exhibits, Kris Nesbitt, joined ABC7 to talk about the "Holiday One World" performances.
