Stars perform at Mavis Staples tribute concert

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Legendary Chicago singer Mavis Staples celebrated her 75th birthday at the Auditorium Theatre.

Performers including Bonnie Raitt, Jeff Tweedy and Aaron Neville performed songs associated with Staples Wednesday night.

Musicians have been inspired by her blending of gospel and soul music for more than 50 years.
