Marvel fans met Tom Holland's upbeat take on Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War earlier this year, and now we have a glimpse of him in next summer's Spider-Man: Homecoming. Here's the hilarious and action-packed first official trailer.

After joining Iron Man in a fight against Captain America, young Peter Parker wants to prove himself as a superhero, all while surviving school.

"Stay close to the ground. And stay out of trouble," Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.) advises him. Iron Man tells Peter Parker to let the more experienced people handle The Vulture (Michael Keaton). But as the trailer shows, Spider-Man just wants to join the fray.

The trailer debuted Thursday night on Jimmy Kimmel Live. The show celebrated by inviting a huge crowd of Spider-Man impersonators onstage.

The movie hits theaters July 7, 2017.
