Facial assessments from the Perlis Wellness Center

CHICAGO -- There's a new trend helping people achieve their beauty goals and reach the so-called "golden ratio."

By reaching a 1 to 1.618 ratio, which is commonly found in nature, artists have been able to achieve masterpieces.

Now some doctors are using the concept to help their patients reach their ideal body image. Using facial assessment caliphers to measure millimeters and dimensions of the face, Dr. Cheryl Perlis can decide on a plan to best treat her patients at her clinic, the Perlis Wellness Center in Lake Bluff. Dr. Perlis joined ABC 7 to talk about facial assessments.
