100 Club honors fallen police officers
The 100 Club of Chicago welcomes the families of fallen police officers, firefighters and paramedics to Brookfield Zoo.

BROOKFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- On Sunday, Aug. 23, the 100 Club of Chicago welcomes the families of fallen police officers, firefighters and paramedics to Brookfield Zoo. They are remembering those they've lost.

But 100 Club Family Day is also a celebration. We learned more about the event from 100 Club CEO Joe Ahern and teacher Elizabeth Kelly, whose first husband State Trooper James Sauter was killed in the line of duty in March 2013.

The event is closed to the public but if you'd like to support the 100 Club of Chicago go to www.100clubchicago.org for more information.
