Chicago boy with rare medical condition granted wish for Italy trip

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An 8-year old Chicago boy will have his wish granted to travel to Italy to make pizza.

But before he goes in about a week, Josh Flores took a pizza-making class Friday night at The Chopping Block in the Merchandise Mart. Josh has a rare medical condition that affects his nervous system.

"It's a huge honor to have people come together and to get this together for our son, not really knowing with what he's facing every day," said David Flores, Josh's father.

Josh and his parents are getting a two-week trip to Italy courtesy of Make-A-Wish Foundation and Kretschmar Deli Meats.
