This incredible adoption story is 8x as heartwarming.

Melissa Groves was a single mother when she met and later married her husband Scott. After marrying, the couple learned that conceiving a child would be very difficult for them. So they happily turned to the option of foster parenting.

Little did they know, these parents would end up adopting eight boys from the same family. Groves details her experience in a blog post on the Congressional Coalition on Adoption Institute website.

"In December 2003, we decided that foster care would be the best match for our small family . . . we received our first call from DHS. My heart skipped a beat...it was really happening! "There is a sibling group of 5 but we need emergency placement of the younger 2 boys," the voice on the other end of the phone said. WAIT, WHAT?! TWO boys?! But we said only ONE! Instantly my excitement faded to disappointment."

But that disappointment quickly turned to joy as the couple would go on to adopt two brothers in 2005, and then six other siblings from the same mother over the next 10 years. The couple's youngest child, baby Zayn, was adopted just two days ago. Groves said she wanted to keep all of the siblings together.

"For us, adoption was initially just a means to complete our family when having a biological child seemed impossible. But, it has become so much more to us. It has opened our eyes, widened the horizons of our family, enriched all of our lives, and brought us so much love and happiness."
