A heartwarming reunion was caught on camera at Medieval Times

HANOVER, MD -- A Marine disguised as a knight shocked his two sons with a surprise reunion at Medieval Times.

A photo opportunity for 9-year-old Elijah and 6-year-old Jacob turned into a heartwarming moment, and it was all caught on camera.

As the boys got into position with the knight, dad pulls off his helmet.

Major Christopher Paes's two sons seemed stunned to see him as he poked his face through the chainmail around his head.

Paes, a 17-year veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, just returned to Maryland from a seven-month tour in Iraq.

The Medieval Times restaurant worked with Major Paes to pull off the big surprise.
