Northwest Fourth Fest returns to Hoffman Estates

HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. (WLS) -- The biggest Independence Day bash in the suburbs is returning to Hoffman Estates.

The Northwest Fourth Fest brings together a festival atmosphere, concerts, and games for thousands of visitors. New to the Northwest Fourth Fest is a Golf Ball Drop Raffle on Sunday, July 5.

For $10 a ball, participants have a chance to win 20 percent of the total entry fees collected. Gates open at 10 a.m. each day.

Hoffman Estates Mayor William McLeod and Supervisor of Hanover Township Brian McGuire talked with ABC 7 live before the festival's final day.
