'Princess Closet' hosts prom dress giveaway

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of high school girls will be dressed like royalty this prom season thanks to an organization called Princess Closet.

The group gave away free dresses Saturday at New Vision Community Church on the city's Lower West Side.

The founder says she does not want any girl to miss her prom because she cannot afford to buy a dress and all the accessories.
