Rahm's one snazzy dresser, says Vanity Fair

CHICAGO (WLS) -- When one thinks of mayors and runways, especially in Chicago, airports come to mind. But that's not the type of runway Vanity Fair apparently thinks Mayor Rahm Emanuel should be walking. The magazine just placed Emanuel in its top 10 list of the world's best dressed mayors.

"Emanuel combines suave styling with a populist sensibility," Rachel Tashjian wrote. "Perhaps, no politician wears the navy suit better."

Emanuel finished behind the mayors of fashion capitals: London's Boris Johnson, Paris' Anne Hidalgo and Giuliano Pisapia of Milan. Other American mayors who made the list include Baltimore mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake and Los Angeles mayor Eric Garcetti.
