Aurora named No. 6 most economically diverse city in US

A new WalletHub study finds west suburban Aurora is one of the nation's most economically diverse cities.[br /][br /]The study looked at the economic class diversity - a combination of household income and education diversity - within the largest 350 cities in the country. Cities that were the least economically diverse had a large concentration of household incomes and educational attainment at either the lower or higher end of the spectrum, while economically diverse cities run the gamut of incomes and education levels on a more evenly distributed basis.[br /][br /]Aurora was named the sixth-most economically diverse city in the U.S.[br /][br /]The Chicago area saw several cities appear toward the more diverse end of the list - with west suburban Elgin at 38, southwest suburban Joliet at 59, and Chicago itself at 128. [br /][br /]Only west suburban Naperville, which borders Aurora, appears in the bottom half of the rankings at 202.[br /] [br /]Carrollton, Texas, just north of Dallas, tops the list for economic diversity.
