Bombarded with come-ons for pumpkin lattes, pumpkin shakes, pumpkin beer and even pumpkin Pop Tarts, suburbanites may be sick of pumpkin before that first taste of the culinary fall classic that's a Thanksgiving staple. Not Marilyn Alice Tuckman, author of "For the Love of Pumpkins." Her new cookbook, perhaps even her career as a professional taste tester, is an ode to the season's best-known squash.
