While fast food restaurants have made some changes in an attempt to offer healthier menu options, researchers have not found those changes to have made much of a difference.

Researchers at Tufts University measured saturated fat, trans fat and sodium in three menu items: French fries, cheeseburgers and grilled chicken sandwiches.

They compared their findings to the levels of fat and salt in the same foods more than a decade ago and say there was almost no difference. Though today's fries have less trans fat, on the whole they are just as bad for you.
