CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago doctors are taking on the use of antibiotics in the meat industry.

They met at Lurie Children's Hospital to reveal the results of a new consumer reports poll that shows that 93 percent of doctors are concerned about the use of antibiotics on healthy animals.

They presented a petition, signed by 7,000 health professionals, that calls on the Obama administration and meat producers to stop the production and sale of meat raised with antibiotics.
