ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, Ill. (WLS) -- As a 57-year-old woman with a limited athletic background for most of her life, Donna Stout admits to being surprised that she's vying for a swimming medal at a national competition in Houston.

Of course, she knows it a bit miraculous that she's anywhere doing anything.
