CHICAGO -- Late actor, Gene Wilder left a lasting legacy here in Chicago. Wilder started an organization here, Gilda's Club Chicago, after his late wife Gilda Radner. About Gilda's Club Chicago

Our mission is to ensure that all people impacted by cancer are empowered by knowledge, strengthened by action and sustained by community. Gilda's Club Chicago serves everyone living with cancer - men, women, teens and children - along with their families and friends. Our innovative program, including over 300 free activities each month, is an essential complement to medical care and offers support, education, healthy lifestyle programs, resource referrals, and social opportunities. Gilda's Club Chicago is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is funded through donations from individuals, businesses, foundations and special events. We are an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community, a network of over 50 local Clubs and 100 satellite locations, as well as an online resource. Visit the Club's website at www.gildasclubchicago.org or call (312) 464-9900 for more information or to make a donation.

On October 15 from 7-11 p.m., Gilda's Club Chicago will host a comedic extravaganza, "Night of a Thousand Noogies," at Park West. This annual event features Chicago's own Second City, who will perform their signature sketch comedy and improv with emcee for the evening, TJ Shanoff. The performers will be joined on stage by notable Chicago celebrities who will be roasted by the cast of Second City.

Attendees will enjoy an open bar, dine on light bites, bid on silent auction items, and try their luck at fabulous raffle prizes. All proceeds from the event are used to support the more than 350 free activities each month at Gilda's Club Chicago and other satellite locations. General admission tickets are $75 and VIP tickets are $125.

WHAT: You'll laugh out loud at this comedy extravaganza featuring members of Chicago's own Second City cast performing skits and improv. Guests will enjoy food and drinks, the comedy show, a raffle, and the opportunity to participate in a silent auction.
