The four steps to most prevent heart attacks have been identified.

Swedish researchers studied more than 20,000 men for a decade and found that a healthy lifestyle reduced the risk of a heart attack by 86 percent.

Not smoking is most critical.

Also important: Forty minutes of walking or biking a day, just one serving of alcohol daily and eating a healthy diet.
