CHICAGO (WLS) -- Thousands of people braved the cold and damp morning to walk for a good cause.
The annual St. Jude "Give Thanks Walk" was held at Soldier Field on Saturday.
Participants walked the concourses around the field.
Chicago is one of more than 65 cities across the country helping to raise money and awareness for children battling cancer and other deadly diseases.
