A new study says the pain experienced during childbirth was not as bad as women remembered.

Researchers from Open University of Israel asked 320 women to rank their pain while in labor.

Then they spoke to the women two days after giving birth and again two months later.

They found that women rated the delivery less painful two days after delivery than they did two months later.

Researchers conclude that women forget about the less painful parts of their labor and focus on the most difficult parts.

There is no word if all of the researchers behind this study were men.
