If you generally blame the weather for your achy joints or back pain you may need to find another excuse.

New research suggests weather conditions are not a factor in contributing to pain.

Australian scientists studied nearly a thousand people who had sudden acute episodes of back pain.

Then they checked corresponding weather reports and compared it to weather one week and one month prior.

They found that none of the weather conditions traditionally thought to be linked to body aches actually had a connection - not temperature, not humidity, not even air pressure.
