One of the rarest and most-valuable comic books ever printed is going up for auction.

A copy of "Action Comics Number One," which marks the first-ever appearance of Superman, could fetch millions of dollars.

eBay says it will be available on the auction site next month.

It's estimated just 50 copies remain, and this one is said to be in the best condition of them all.

An eBay appraiser calls the 76-year-old comic "pristine".

The comic originally sold for ten cents in 1938.

A copy that's not as well-preserved as this one sold for more than $2 million in 2011.

The seller says he will donate a portion of proceeds to charity.
