The Pantone Color Institute recently released the 2016 color of the year. For the first time ever, they decided to blend two shades together: rose quartz and serenity.

The executive director of the Pantone Color Institute said it best: "Joined together, Rose Quartz and Serenity demonstrate an inherent balance between a warmer embracing rose tone and the cooler tranquil blue, reflecting connection and wellness as well as a soothing sense of order and peace."

Brynn Olson, Design Principal of Brynn Olson Design Group, shows us how to incorporate the color of the year into our homes without breaking the bank.
