1 injured in police-involved shooting in Archer Heights

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One person is hospitalized after a shooting involving Chicago police officers near Archer and Kostner in the Archer Heights neighborhood.

Officers said they fired shots a suspect inside a car, which crashed near the intersection. One person was injured. The extent of his or her injuries is not known.

Officials have not said what led to the police shooting.
