1 killed in Romeoville motorcycle crash

ROMEOVILLE, Ill. (WLS) -- A motorcycle allegedly hit and killed a man in southwest suburban Romeoville, police said.

Police say Richard Rychetsky, 41, was driving northbound on Illinois Route 53 near Chambers Drive around 9 p.m. Friday when the motorcycle allegedly hit 56-year-old Mark Stukel as he was walking in the street.

Stukel was transported to Adventists Bolingbrook Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

Police are continuing to investigate.
